Original Killswitch Engage singer Howard Jones is back to make the album Incarnate. If you listened to both old and new Killswitch, you can know what to expect. This album is your typical metalcore. It is very well produced and has great hooks, but nothing really stood out as new, innovative, or riveting to me. Track 1 “Alone I Stand” is really rather good and something I would play. This whole album has a rather FFDP/Volbeat sound – so almost southern rock but not quite. It’s decent music and catchy, but nothing new.

2. Hate by Design - the advertised single but still a pretty hard song, rocks hard but still kinda has that FFDP sound to it.
4. Strength of the Mind - again advertised single but a good song, way harder than Track 2 but still has that smooth hook that'll catch a wide audience
